Who did Nicușor Dan vote for in the elections in the Capital: “I got used to choosing someone else, I’ve been running for this position since 2012”

Nicușor Dan declared, on Saturday evening, that a “stamped” who he thought was more appropriate, after being asked about the elections for the General City Hall of the Capital, which took place last weekend.

“I won’t be able to say that, I can say that it’s a city that I know very well and especially the administration and the temptations surrounding the administration I know very well. And I chose, with my vote… I had a discussion with my wife, coincidentally she chose the same person. With my vote, I put my stamp on who I thought was leading. In politics there is only one rule: people are right. It was a process, I also joked with the journalists, I said that I unusual to vote for someone else at the Capital City Hall, because I have been running for this position since 2012”said Nicuşor Dan on Kanal D.

Asked if he congratulated Ciprian Ciucu, Nicuşor Dan answered that he would, “it is a responsibility that the citizens give you”.

“Not yet until this moment (of recording the show – no), but I will do it. Again, it is a responsibility that the citizens give you. There are a number of projects, directions that are open and must be followed, that is, heating is at 30-35%, public transport – there are some signed contracts, we still need to find the money. I believe that this city can develop in good faith. What I want to say in relation to the mayor, we must we implement last year’s referendum (…)”stated Nicusor Dan.

Asked by a reporter if he knows who Nicușor Dan voted with, Ciprian Ciucu initially answered:I know that he voted with Ana Ciceala“.

Later, however, the mayor qualified his statement, admitting that the information was not verified.

President Nicușor Dan congratulated the candidates for the elections on Sunday, December 7, pointing out that citizens are always right, and their opinions are expressed through voting. At the time, the head of state also emphasized the need to put into practice last year’s referendum, through which the residents of Bucharest expressed their opinion regarding the distribution of money.
