In a message distributed on his Facebook account, the rector of the National School of Political and Administrative Sciences, Remus Pricopie, considers that the decision of his own party to abandon Elena Lasconi is anti-democratic, a “palace blow” orchestrated by “a handful of people from USR leadership”, and shows the despair of the “Nicuşor” polls.
On the other hand, says Remus Pricopie, the measure is one with two edges for USR, because the votes of the supporters of Elena Lasconi will not go to Nicuşor Dan, but will be redirected to Crin Antonescu.
“
2. Today’s decision, adopted by a handful of people from USR leadership, says a lot and what Nicuṣor Dan understands through “honesty”, transparency and democratic values.
3. This movement demonstrates despair in “Nicușor Dan Group”. As I said some time ago, Nicușor Dan is getting worse and worse in polls. If he was fine, he didn’t force such a measure.
4. Attention to the side effects of the decision. At this moment, Crin Antonescu – not Nicușor Dan – will have additional support from the “Lasconi group”.
5. Hard to make politics with amateurs ”, ASCRIS Remus Pricopie on his Facebook account on the USR decision to withdraw his support for the party candidate, Elena Lasconi.
