Betano supports the National Paralympic Committee and the performance of Paralympic athletes

Ride More – ParaEvent SnowLovers Edition”, dedicated to the selection of Paralympic athletes for winter sports, the first initiative supported within the collaboration

In the spirit of its new platform of social responsibility “Impossible becomes possible. On Good.”, Betano, joins the National Paralympic Committee (CNP) through a financial contribution destined to the organization of the Ride More Paraevent – Snowlovers Edition. This event encouraged people with physical disabilities – with reduced mobility, amputations or locomotor conditions – to discover adapted winter sports and take the first steps towards performance.

The event, organized in Miercurea Ciuc, between October 16 and 19, represented the first action supported by Betano in collaboration with CNP and aimed to promote Paralympic sports and attract new participants to this movement. The event also included two development workshops, supported by specialists in sports nutrition and mental training, aimed at providing athletes with concrete tools for their personal and professional development.

“Paralympic sport is living proof that true performance is not just about medals, but also about the courage to keep going when the road seems impossible. For us, this partnership is an opportunity to be with people who inspire us with their strength, with the discipline and passion with which they overcome their limitations. We believe that sport has the power to transform lives and communities, and our involvement reflects Betano’s commitment to be with those that turns challenges into successes and aspirations into reality.”said Dragoș Mîndreci, Country Manager Betano Romania.

“We are glad to have with us a partner who understands the importance of supporting the Paralympic movement and the people behind it. This year’s event is a key initiative to attract new athletes to winter disciplines and to develop existing ones. Betano’s support helps us to provide better training conditions and real opportunities for those who want to turn their passion for sports into a success story.”, said Eduard Novak, President of the National Paralympic Committee.

Betano’s contribution to the National Paralympic Committee is part of a larger effort to support projects dedicated to authentic performance, solidarity and the collective power to do good — values that define the social responsibility platform “The Impossible Becomes Possible. For Good.”
