In the same context, the mayor of Sector 6 resumed the subject of the referendum initiated last year in Bucharest Nicusor Dan, validated by the court. Ciucu claims that it should be implemented before the partial local elections in the Capital.

“I think it would be correct that the referendum on Bucharest, validated last year, initiated by Mr. Nicusor Dan, then general mayor, be put into practice before the partial elections. Regardless of what a sector mayor or the hypothetical future general mayor wants”. stated the liberal leader.

The statement comes after the governing coalition established the organization of partial local elections on December 7.

In the discussions on Tuesday, the idea of a referendum on special pensions, supported by PNL and USR, was also analyzed, through which Romanians would have been asked if they agree with the elimination of these benefits.
