The social democrats show that the official statistical data present a particularly serious economic reality.
“The national economy is officially in recession, we have the highest inflation in Europe, there have already been 10 months of consumption collapse, and unemployment and public debt are on an accelerated increase. These were the reasons why the PSD acted to change the direction of government. In such conditions, maintaining a dismissed government, with limited powers and unable to stop the economic decline, seriously affects the standard of living of the voters of all parties parliamentary”emphasizes the PSD.
“We all have the duty to denounce political arrogance and think first of all about those who gave us the vote of confidence. We have the duty to build a majority for citizens, not for politicians. A majority made around economic solutions that respond to people’s acute problems and that are integrated into the program of a government with full powers”the formation also transmits.
PSD shows that “they have the duty to present this majority to the President of Romania next week, for the appointment of a prime minister who will assume the solutions for economic recovery”.
“The refusal of political dialogue and the invocation of disproportionate conditions, which deepen the crisis or which deliberately thwart any political compromise solution, directly affect the interests of those who voted for us, regardless of their political options”, PSD warns in the statement.
UDMR demands the abandonment of pride
Acting Health Minister Cseke Attila said on Thursday that every party in the former ruling coalition must “let go of your pride” when discussing finding a solution to the current political crisis.
“We offered several solutions, we told them publicly: first of all, I believe that each of these parties must leave their pride behind. It is a moment when we must also take an example from other countries. In other European countries, when these politically tense situations arose, in order not to reach a partial or total legitimization of the parties from one extreme, large coalitions were formed. They were not formed forever. It is not about a love for the next three years, the next eight years or so on. It is the responsible management of a created political situation.” said Cseke Attila on Thursday, according to Agerpres.

In his opinion, the correct solution from a political point of view would be to restore a large coalition, in which everyone assumes what he has to do, and if this is not possible, another solution should be found, a minority Government, with a majority at the investiture and which has behind it an agreement between the political parties, so as to ensure on certain aspects that are important – such as PNRR, SAFE – a parliamentary majority and stability.
“I’m not a predictor, but it shouldn’t take long and it should be completed as quickly as possible. (…) We need ministers with a full mandate. We will support the solutions that emerge. I think that every day the four party presidents should meet for two, three, four hours, until an understanding and an agreement emerge. If you want, we can take the model of the election of the Pope, where people close themselves until they find a solution”the minister claimed.
The PNL plan after the decision of the Court

The narrow leadership of the PNL meets in a meeting, Thursday evening, to determine the next steps, after the Bucharest Court ruled in favor of the Vestea Camp and suspended the decisions of the Congress on June 21.
Although the court demands the reinstatement of the old PNL leaders, they will not be called to the party meeting.
PNL spokesman Ionel Bogdan told Digi24 that the court’s decision “it does not change the will of the PNL members”. “Things are as clear as possible regarding the PNL team and the desire of the members and the party to reform and stand firm in the face of any attacks. Even if we will operate on the old status, the majorities in the PNL governing bodies do not change”he transmitted.
