David Popovici revealed what job he would choose if he gave up swimming

Multiple swimming champion, David Popovici gave an interview in “Swimming World Magazine” in which he provided details about his private life and his desires. He revealed what job he would do if he was no longer an athlete, his favorite food and who he would change his life with for a day.

Here is what Popovici said to “Swimming World”, according to “News.ro”:

Dream job: “What I would like to do after I stop competing in swimming has to do with cars. I want to be either a really good mechanic or a car restorer. Or both 🙂 I love cars.”

The sport he would do if he wasn’t swimming: “When I was little I thought I was very good at badminton, now I think it was just my dad letting me win every now and then.”

Daily meal: “Burgers”.

Song she listens to daily: “Send the Pain, Baby” by Chevelle

Favorite series: “The Sopranos”. If you think otherwise, you are simply wrong.

Favorite place he’s visited because of swimming: “Lima, Peru, for the food, and Melbourne in general. In fact, the friends I’ve made along the way, in each country, are the real reward and answer for me.”

Hobbies: “I love dangerous vehicles. I have fast cars and there are few things I enjoy more than taking one of them for an adrenaline rush down a winding road early on a Sunday morning.”

Who would you trade your life with for a day: “I would trade my life for my dog’s; I’m very curious to see what it’s like to eat, sleep, be walked, play and be loved unconditionally – not that I wouldn’t be loved unconditionally by my family. I love them ;))”

Participating in the international Settecolli Trophy, in Rome, last month, David Popovici ranked 2nd in the final A of the 50m freestyle event. Olympic, world and European champion, the Bucharest native won the 100 m and 200 m freestyle. In the 100 m, he was timed in 47.26 seconds, setting a new event record.
