It's about the 75-year-old Scottish singer Lulu. She says she strictly observes this habit on the days she has a show. All to protect his voice, according to information provided by DPA.

As she prepares for her next tour, which is described as a “farewell tour with family and friends”, Lulu practices this ritual of morning silence in an effort to keep her voice in perfect shape for every performance.

In an interview given to BBC News, the singer gave details about this apparently unusual routine.

I don't talk before 12:00she said.

Although this habit might seem strange to some, Lulu assures that this prolonged silence is a necessity, not a whim.

I can understand why you think I'm lying. But no. I am very disciplined. I try not to leave my room until 12 o'clock. That makes things easier for me. I take care of my instrument. It allows me to sing”the artist explained.

60 years of musical career

Lulu, born Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie, has faced significant challenges in her career, including the lingering effects of a long bout of COVID that led to the cancellation of more than 30 dates of her 2023 UK tour.

However, her unwavering determination keeps her on the music track and her upcoming tour promises to be a memorable one, marking 60 years of her musical career.

This pop legend began his journey to stardom at the age of just 15, when his cover of 'Shout' became a hit. In addition, his participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1969, representing Great Britain with the song “Boom Bang-a-Bang”, brought him international recognition.
