Universitatea Craiova dramatically won against Rapid Bucharest, with a score of 2-1 (1-0), on Monday evening, in a game from the seventh stage of the play-off phase of the Superliga, writes AGERPRES.

The Craiova players opened the scoring through Andrei Ivan (30), who scored with a header from Alexandru Creţu's cross. The Rapidists created several scoring opportunities, but then they managed to equalize, through the Serbian Borisav Burmaz (77), after an error by the Craiova defense.
The team prepared by Constantin Gâlcă gave the kick in the last phase, a corner, Creţu scoring with a header from Alexandru Mitriţă's cross. Previously, Marian Danciu had missed a huge opportunity for the guests (87).
In the goal of Rapid, Bogdan Ungureanu was in his first match as a starter, at only 17 years and 28 days.
With this success, the University of Craiova climbed to second place in the ranking.
Rapid remains with only one point obtained in the seven play-off stages.
Craiova University, which was coming after a failure at home with CFR Cluj, has two consecutive victories with Gâlcă as coach and four in the play-offs.
