He came “bill” for World Class Romania! After years in which group-training classes were held in extremely bad conditions at some clubs, in unbearable heat, like in a sauna, in the end, the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) put its foot down on the threshold! And today, several World Class clubs were closed by ANPC inspectors.

At some clubs, like America House, the Cycling studio, the problems were so bad that, over the years, some instructors even gave up the classes they had there! Subscribers complained in vain at the reception because of these serious situations. The lack of air remained the big problem at many World Class Romania locations. This in the conditions in which the price of subscriptions simply exploded at the beginning of this year.
Today, after the checks carried out by ANPC, the clubs were closed. And gradually, subscribers woke up to texts and phone calls telling them they had nowhere to go for their workout. Because the club was closed for an indefinite period!
Faced with this situation, the management of World Class Romania reacted with a press release which we reproduce below:
*Following the temporary closure of some World Class clubs in Bucharest, as a result of the actions of the Control Body of the National Authority for Consumer Protection, the health & fitness network World Class Romania manages to send the public a clear and transparent message of commitment to complying with all rules legal and assuming responsibility for remedying any deficiencies identified.
*During the inspection carried out by ANPC in World Class clubs in Bucharest, certain aspects related to compliance with the rules and regulations in force were identified and in certain cases the temporary suspension of the activity was ordered.
*We work closely with the relevant authorities to quickly and efficiently fix all issues that require intervention. The safety, health and satisfaction of our members remain our top priorities, and their needs and concerns are at the heart of everything we do, day in and day out, at our clubs.
*We want to assure the public that we are committed to strictly complying with all legal standards and that we are taking all steps to remediate and improve the club experience to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all our members. We will continue to engage openly and transparently with the authorities in this regard and keep the public informed of each club's situation.
