Old phones have caused a real nostalgia among collectors. Recently, some Nokia models manufactured 15-20 years ago were put up for sale on the OLX website.
The most expensive are the Nokia 8800 models, released since 2005, with a stainless steel sliding keyboard cover to protect the phone. For such a phone, 1000 euros is also required.
A model of Nokia 8800, called “Mother of pearl” is sold for 5,200 lei on OLX. About it, the owner says it is specially customized with “natural shell“, and the central button is from “sapphire”noting that: “Tthe parts in this phone are original!“.
Another seller is selling a “Nokia 8800 Sapphire arts” which he says is “brand new in box, 100% original, unworn in it” with 4,250 lei. Attention is also drawn to the sale price of the phone abroad, where on eBay it even reaches more than 3,500 dollars.

For some old phones, collectors even end up investing good money. It is also the situation of a person who paid 130 dollars, at an auction, for an original case corresponding to a Nokia E55 phone, considered “the thinnest smartphone in the world” in 2009. The owner is now selling the phone for 1,050 lei.
“The phone is addressed to connoisseurs. It has only 30 hours of talk time and received a new ORIGINAL case (a rarity on this model as they have been gone for many years and has all the factory scratches all over). For the uninitiated, I paid $130 for this original case at an auction in Canada”, says the owner in the sale ad.
