Memorandum of collaboration with Azerbaijan for the digitization of public services

Romania will sign a Memorandum of collaboration with Azerbaijan for the digitization of public services, informed the Secretary General of the Government, Mircea Abrudean.

Between April 1-3, the Secretary General of the Government, Mircea Abrudean, made a working visit to Azerbaijan, where he also participated in the works of the Romania-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Joint Commission, together with Sebastian Burduja, the Minister of Energy.

According to the cited source, “the two dignitaries met this year, in February, at the World Governments Summit where they laid the foundations for future collaboration for the development of the digitalization of public services in Romania with support and know-how from Azerbaijan”.

“I knew from the previous meeting with Mr. Mehdiyev about the ASAN Service, one of the conceptual innovations implemented in Azerbaijan in recent years regarding the provision of public services. The visit to the ASAN Center helped us to better understand how this service works, what are the facilities it offers and to want to speed up the seeding of the joint Memorandum between the two states to be able to implement this program in Romania as well”, Mircea Abrudean transmitted.
