The dentist accused by the Lolrelai influencer, Ștefania Costache, of rape was sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexual assault and deprivation of liberty.

“The doctor accused by the influencer Ștefania Costache (Lolrelai), was sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexual assault and deprivation of liberty. I recall that the dentist would have drugged Lolrelai and then, probably using the rape drug, moved her to his apartment, where, taking advantage of the induced state, he would have sexually assaulted her. The court also accepted our request for payment of moral damages and established a compensation of 50,000 euros.“, stated the lawyer Adrian Cuculis.
We remind you that Ștefania Costache, known as Lolrelai, a former competitor at IUmor, reported in a vlog the traumatic experience she had after a visit to the dental office. She claimed the doctor drugged her, then took her to his apartment, where he sexually assaulted her. The doctor, however, denied the allegations. The young woman filed a complaint with the Police for abuse and rape, for the acts committed in 2020. Other victims would also have testified.
“In this case, other victims testified and confirmed that they would have done the same thing, but their complaints were dismissed by other prosecutors’ offices for lack of evidence“, added the lawyer.
According to the Decision of 18.09.2024, from Portal.just.ro, the dentist was sentenced to 8 years in prison for sexual assault and 6 years in prison for illegal deprivation of liberty, the acts being committed on February 17/18, 2020. The main punishment was set at 10 years in prison, with the prohibition of exercising the rights to hold public positions and the profession of dentist for a period of 5 years after the execution of the sentence. The court also ordered the payment of 50,000 euros as moral damages to the civil party and applied an insurance seizure on the defendant’s assets. Also, the defendant will pay 10,000 lei in court costs. The decision is enforceable and can be appealed within 10 days.
