The Ministry of Education has published the programs in force for the Baccalaureate exam 2024. What new things do students need to know if they want to get a passing grade.

The 2024 Baccalaureate exam begins on June 17 with the exam in Romanian language and literature – oral. The written tests take place between July 1 and 5, with a free day between the compulsory and optional test.

According to edupedu.ro, for comparison, two years ago the authors: Eugen Lovinescu, Titu Maiorescu, Marin Preda, Nichita Stănescu and Marin Sorescu were no longer studied, and likewise in 2021. This year, their texts and the literary currents in which enroll were addressed in class.
Mathematics syllabus
Students will be tested in the subjects of classes IX-XII. They will need to know: sets and elements of mathematical logic, strings, functions, vectors in the plane, elements of trigonometry, sets of numbers, equations, geometry, elements of matrix calculus and systems of linear equations, elements of mathematical analysis, elements of algebra .
History program
Students will have to have the following skills: effective use of communication and specialized language, extracting essential information from a message, using historical sources, building thematic syntheses. Students must know the history of the 20th century, Romanian constitutions, status and politics, international relations.
Baccalaureate 2024. Geography curriculum
Students will have to have notions about the Romanian and European space, landforms, climate, natural resources, they must know elements of human geography of Romania and Europe such as: political map, population, cities, economy, transport. The program includes notions about the European Union and Romania in the context of the European Union.
