The notes will be published until 12:00 and between 12:00 and 18:00 anyone who wants to can file an appeal. However, students who wish to re-evaluate their papers must know that the final grade may be even lower than the one initially received.
Baccalaureate 2024, autumn session. How to file appeals
Complaints can be submitted both in physical format, at the exam center, or online, to the e-mail address indicated by each individual exam organizer high school.
Candidates contesting the original examination result must complete, sign and submit/transmit electronically a form declaration. In the application, the students mention the fact that they have become aware that the grade awarded as a result of the resolution of the appeal may change, as the case may be, the initial grade, by increasing or decreasing it.
The resolution of appeals is scheduled for August 27-29, and the final results will be communicated on Friday, August 30.
How to calculate grades for Baccalaureate 2024, autumn session
The final grade of the Baccalaureate 2024 exams, the autumn session, is calculated as the arithmetic mean with two decimal places of the grades given by the evaluator teachers, without rounding and only if the difference between the grades given by them is less than or equal to one point. If the difference between the marks awarded by the two evaluators is greater than 1 point, two other evaluators are nominated to correct the paper.
After completing the proofreading of the paper, the marks awarded by each of the four evaluators are transferred to the paper. Then, the final grade is calculated from the 4 (four) grades. After removing the two extreme grades/values, the final grade is calculated as the arithmetic mean to two decimal places, without rounding, of the two central grades/values. The resulting average represents the final grade that is registered according to the provisions of the procedure.
During the appeals resolution stage, after the evaluation of the works, the final grade is calculated as follows: in the situation where there is a difference in grading of more than 1.5 points, plus or minus, between the grade from the initial evaluation and the one from appeals, the paper is reevaluated by two other evaluators. The final grade cannot be changed and represents the grade obtained by the candidate for the respective test.
How to calculate the overall average at Baccalaureate 2024, autumn session
The 2024 Baccalaureate average is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the grades obtained in all tests. We are talking about an arithmetic average with two decimal places and without rounding, this will be the general average of the candidate.
Baccalaureate promotion rules
To pass the exam, a high school graduate must fulfill, cumulatively, the following conditions:
- obtaining at least an average of 6 in the written tests (the average of the grades obtained in the written tests).
