UPDATE The spokesperson of the Executive, Mihai Constantin, listed the new medicines that will be included, starting next month, on the list of those to which patients will have free access or at a compensated cost.
“By government decision, new drugs will be included, starting November 1, on the list of those to which patients will have free access or at a compensated cost. These are drugs recommended by specialists for oncological conditions, for epilepsy, chronic diseases caused by immunological changes that change the structure of collagen connective tissue, rheumatoid arthritis, HIV-AIDS infection, as well as for bone marrow transplantation, declared Mihai Constantin, in a press conference at the Victoria Palace.
According to him, the changes are aimed at ensuring fair and non-discriminatory access of the population to medicines for the evolutionary stages of certain diseases, according to the national or international guidelines for the respective pathology.

The list of new medicines is to be published by the Ministry of Health.
