Julia Babra, a young woman from Qatar, decided to visit Romania, and her points of interest were Bucharest and Brașov. She was delighted with her experience in Romania, the Romanians and everything she found here and posted a video on her You Tube channel.

“I returned to Romania, a beautiful country that people don’t really talk about. I have always had an amazing experience in this country. The people are very nice, they are very friendly, they help you, they are kind”, said the young woman.

She came by plane to Bucharest, and from there she decided to take a car to Brașov.I am finally here, after a long journey from Doha to Brasov. The journey started from Doha, Qatar, to Bucharest and then from Bucharest I took a car to Brașov. This time I didn’t stay in Bucharest at all. I’m in the hotel now and I’ll give you a quick tour of the room“, she also said.

After two hours of rest, the young woman decided to go out and eat at one of the restaurants. “I’m ready to go out and find something to eat. I had a nice trip, I was lucky, I wasn’t too stressed with immigration, they only asked me a few questions. Basically it was the same experience I had the other time when I came here, that’s why I like this country. Last time when I came here I stayed in Bucharest, but this time I wanted to go to Brașov, a city that I was told is very, very beautiful and it is“, she added.

Delighted by Brasov

Although she did not make reservations ahead of time, the young woman had no problems reaching her destination.

I didn’t make a reservation ahead of time, I came with the hope that maybe I’ll get some information from the airport and then I’ll find my way to Brașov, which I did, because most of the time I travel alone. So after I got to the airport I did passport control and then once I was done with that I went outside to look for a way out of Bucharest. My luck was to meet someone at the airport cafe where I had gone to drink tea and look for wifi. There was a lady from New Zealand and we came to Brașov together in a minibus. It took us about 3 and a half hours. By train we would have done 2 and a half hours, but even so it was ok”Julia also said.

Romania is, she says, “the beautiful country that no one talks about”.

The people are very nice, very friendly, they help you, they are kind, I always met good people here. That happened today too. Sometimes I think it’s about attraction. If you are a good person, then you will surely meet good people who are really ready to help you in one way or another. I think I’m a good person and that’s why I meet good people. Now I will explore Brasov for a few days, then fly to another country“, said the young woman.

She chose to move around Brașov on foot, precisely because she wanted to learn as much as possible about the city and see as much as possible. The restaurant he chose was one with a Romanian specialty, where he ate sarmale with polenta.

What did the Romanians say to him?

After posting the clip on YouTube, Julia interacted with several Romanians and said she felt safe in Romania, even though she traveled alone.

You are very safe here no matter the color of your skin… so don’t worry my dear we don’t judge people by the color of their skin”someone wrote to him.

Julia answered him immediately. “Thank you very much, yes it is true and I can agree that I felt safe, the people are peaceful, very nice and helpful.”

Someone else went further with the claims. “I love black women! You won’t have any problems in Romania, with the exception of some from the smaller towns who will look more insistently at you”, it was a message. And the young woman admitted that she had some insistent looks, but in no case was it something disturbing for her.

“Thank you very much. This happened to me when I was walking through a village, some older people looked at me more closely, but they were just curious and nice“, Julia pointed out. “Exactly, everyone will love you!”the Romanian Internet users assured him.
