Angelina Jolie and her son, Knox Jolie-Pitt, walked arm in arm at the Governors Awards. The actress was accused of using outings with her children to “get under her ex-husband’s skin”.

On Sunday, the two enjoyed a rare public mother-and-son reunion at the star-studded bash at the Ray Dolby Ballroom.
The Oscar-winning actress, 48, and her 16-year-old son caught the eye as they posed for photos on the red carpet.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, a source revealed that her ex-husband, Brad, found the timing of the exit “suspect” in the midst of their divorce.
“Brad only gets to see his kids when they walk the carpet with their mother, and the timing of that couldn’t be more suspicious considering he and Angie have just been decided to go to trial “, said the source.
Last week, DailyMail.com revealed that the former couple will face off in court next year in their legal battle dubbed “War of the Roses“.
The decision comes after a judge recently rejected the Wanted actress’ request to dismiss her ex-husband’s lawsuit over their vineyard in France.
The Chateau Miraval estate, which produces an award-winning sparkling rosé, is at the center of a legal battle between the two.
Meanwhile, Angelina has also been accused of trying to drive a wedge between her estranged husband and their six children following their split.
The source continued: “She’s trying to get under his skin after his recent victory and using Knox to do so is weird. Knox wants nothing to do with Hollywood and has no communication with Brad.”
A source close to Angelina insisted it was Knox’s choice to support her mother at the event.
Notably absent from Sunday’s outing were Knox’s siblings – Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and Knox’s twin Vivienne.
In May, documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court revealed that a former bodyguard for the couple was told by his own contractors that Angelina was pushing for her children to avoid Pitt when she had custody of them.
Former British SAS soldier Tony Webb worked for the family for more than 20 years, starting in 2000, and claimed his colleague told him he heard Angelina “encouraging the children to avoid spending time with Pitt during custody visits.”
Documents detailing the explosive claims were made public as part of “War of the Roses” ongoing, with the A-List couple locked in a bitter battle over her rights to sell their vineyard and home in France.
The Tomb Raider star sold his $62 million stake to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler in 2021, which Brad claims violated their agreement to give the other the right of first refusal.
Angelina recently filed motions to dismiss claims Brad made against her regarding a verbal 50-50 vineyard agreement.
She claimed the agreement was voided after her ex-husband asked her to sign an NDA regarding their marriage – with both parties seemingly determined to throw everything away in the case.
“It’s already been ugly, but it’s about to get even uglier as Angie is determined to get revenge on Brad and will try to continue settling several old personal scores“, a person close to the case told DailyMail.com.
And the situation is about to get even more expensive for the two, with their legal disputes already costing both sides millions of dollars.
The latest twist in the acrimonious litigation has prompted Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Lia Martin to deny the motions — putting Brad back in the lead.
Filings filed last week suggest the judge found some merit in Brad’s claims that their initial verbal agreement was binding and Jolie breached it when she sold her shares.
With all three cases dismissed, the former power couple – who married at their property in Provence, southern France, in 2014 and split in 2016 – will face off in court next year.
A source close to the actor told DailyMail.com:
“This is a simple commercial dispute, but unfortunately the other side has consistently introduced personal elements that have exposed the weaknesses of their case and complicated and prolonged the proceedings.”
The Maleficent star will have 30 days to appeal the judge’s decision.
