This year’s best Netflix original movies span genres and forms, ranging from action movies to documentaries and animated films for all ages, according to businessinsider.com.
You may remember “Hit Man,” which helped solidify Glen Powell’s star status after “Anyone But You” and before the summer blockbuster “Twisters.” You may have caught the Oscar-nominated Society of the Snow after it premiered on Netflix in January. Or maybe you tuned in for Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut Woman of the Hour.
There are 21 Netflix movies this year that boasted an aggregate Rotten Tomatoes critic score of over 80% — provided they have at least 20 reviews. Here’s the full list, from lowest to highest score.
21. “Ultraman: Rising”

20. “The beautiful game
