“As a result of the reports regarding the meeting of difficulty in the use of the Health Insurance Informatics Platform (PIAS) by some medical service providers, CNAS urgently summoned the maintenance service providers for the platform components, in order to analyze the operating parameters and establish, as the case may be, the need for intervention”CNAS informed on Friday.
The institution reminds that in situations where there are difficulties in using the PIAS, medical services, medicines and medical devices can be provided offline, to ensure the continuity of medical care, and computerized reporting can be carried out later, within three working days , according to the legal provisions in force.
At the same time, CNAS states that in order to allow all providers of medical services, medicines and medical devices to correctly and completely complete the reporting of the activity carried out in December 2024, the reporting calendar is open until January 20, 2025, for all healthcare segments .
