Lee Joo-Sil, an actress who played in the famous Korean series “Squid Game” died, just three months after being diagnosed with stomach cancer.

Lee Joo-Sil, 81 years old, performed Park Mal Soon, Hwang Jun Ho (Wi Ha Joon) and Hwang’s stepmother (Lee Byung Hun).
She died on Sunday, in her family’s house in Uijeongbu, South Korea, writes the Daily Mail.
At 30, Lee Joo Sil was diagnosed with breast cancer, and doctors then told him that he had a month to live. Then Lee was diagnosed with stomach cancer in November last year during a check.
Her funeral will take place at Shinchon Severance Hospital on February 5.
The actress was born on March 8, 1944, in South Korea, and is recognized for her roles in the success series “Squid Game” (2021), “The UNCANNY Counter” (2020-2023), but also the horror movie “Train to Busan ”(2016).
Lee began playing in 1964, first obtaining recognition as a vocal and interpreter.
The first series in which he played, according to IMDB, is “Jeonwonilgi” (1980–2002).
