Be Strong Tennis, a company from the ecosystem of the oldest sports club in Craiova – CS Atlas, with a 20 -year history in football and tennis – moves to the next level of development: the company announces the start of works for a multifunctional gym, totaling 5,865,011 lei (approximately 1.18 million euros). The non -reimbursable financing is almost 3.7 million lei, of which 3.15 million lei represents the contribution from European funds (through the fair for fair transition).
“For over 20 years, we have tried not to deviate from a single vision of development: if we want future generations to see in sports a personal development route or a career route, we must invest supported and integrated: in a healthy and sustainable business model, in services at the highest level, in affiliation (through atlas club), in investment), in investment). We are extremely excited to show that now, perhaps more important than ever in the history of the last 30 years, funding from European Union funds contribute significantly to local economic development, create jobs and support important projects for communities.”, Says Cristian Ciocan-Stănescu, general manager of Be Strong Tennis.
The project brings together several sports as well as an integrated sport-agrement-recovery vision, with tennis spaces, padl, kineto office, nutrition office, physical training room (fitness), and the start of the works is planned in the first half of 2025, with an execution time of 18 months.
The Nzeb (Nearly Zero Energy Buildings) building is designed to produce more energy than it consumes within a year, through a series of design solutions and high-level technologies: state-of-the-art air conditioning (heat pumps), photovoltaic panel system, rainwater recovery system (rain) (household, irrigation of green spaces, etc.).
As a development perspective, Be Strong Tennis and the Club Sportiv Atlas Association intend to become a regional sports training center in tennis and football and a model of good practices in the region.
“We want to expand the current infrastructure, adding new performance sports within the club structures, respectively to prepare a team of specialists to be behind the performance athletes: coaches, physical trainers, nutritionists, psychologists, etc., and they can advise players up to the highest level.
As a vision of growth that all our steps are subsumed, we want to become the second sports brand in the region, after Craiova University and to have investors with strategic vision of the private environment.”, Says the entrepreneur Cristian Ciocan-Stanescu.
