The top of sunny destinations in Europe. The city of the first place, ideal for beach lovers

If you want a sunny and affordable prices, then Spain can be the ideal choice. A new study by a rental platform shows that eight of the ten most sunny cities in Europe are in this country.

Even if the Easter holidays have been affected by torrential rains in some Spanish islands, such as Lanzarote, Spain remains among the top of sunny city breaks, the Daily Mail says. According to the data provided by World Weather Online, the southeastern city of Cartagena enjoys the highest monthly average hours: 283 hours.

Cartagena has an average annual temperature of 19.1 ° C, often reaching over 30 ° C in summer. The destination is also accessible as a price, being numerous low-cost flights to nearby airports. Moreover, cartagne prices are friendly with the budget. For example, a beer costs on average 3 euros.

Last year, a poll conducted by a British magazine positioned Cartagena among the best holiday destinations in Spain in terms of value for money, taking into account criteria such as beaches, safety, gastronomy and accommodations.

Other Spanish cities that enjoy a lot of sun are alicant (279.6 hours/month), Malaga (279.3), Murcia (277) and Granada (274.4). The top follows Sevillia, Cordoba and Madrid.

From outside Spain, only two cities managed to enter the Top 10: Marseille (France – 266.1 hours/month) and Catania (Italy – 273.7).

Instead, Valencia could be the best choice for the budget. A recent poll shows that 77% of the Expatants living here are satisfied with their financial situation, and 61% say that available revenues allow them to lead a comfortable life – well above the global average.

An American established in Valencia told the Daily Mail: “I like that I do not have to worry about the cost of life, whether it is a home or the health system.”
