The data underlying this synthesis were extracted from the digitized and processed evaluation platform at the Ministry of Education and Research. The information that allows such analyzes, as well as analyzes of the degree of success will be available at the level of each county school inspectorate/the school inspectorate of the municipality of Bucharest, respectively of each educational unit with the transmission of the evaluation borders according to a statement of the Ministry of Education that can be consulted.

The results obtained were presented in detail on each sample, highlighting the students’ performance notes and tranches. These will help the schools to identify the areas where students need improvements and will facilitate the interventions necessary for the final training.

What data will be available?

After publishing results, students, parents and teachers will be able to access the following essential information:

  1. The success rate for each question separately at the simulation;
  2. Comparing the performances between the examination disciplines – Romanian language and literature, mother tongue, compulsory profile and choice test;
  3. Regional and county differences, in order to see where the students had the highest difficulties;
  4. The evolution of the grades to the previous simulations, providing a clear image of the progress or regress of recent years.

Results on samples

The results obtained were centralized on samples and presented on notes:

  • Romanian language and literature (EA test): Evaluated works: 101.433 Notes ≥ 5: 67.793 (66.84%)
  • Evaluated works: 101.433
  • Notes ≥ 5: 67.793 (66.84%)
  • Mother tongue (EB sample): Evaluated works: 5,554 notes ≥ 5: 4.582 (82.5%) edu.ro+2alba24+2edu.ro+2
  • Evaluated works: 5.554
  • Notes ≥ 5: 4.582 (82.5%) edu.ro+2alba24+2edu.ro+2
  • Mandatory Profile discipline (EC sample): Evaluated works: 99,958 notes ≥ 5: 63,250 (63.28%)
  • Evaluated works: 99,958
  • Notes ≥ 5: 63.250 (63.28%)
  • Sample of choice of profile and specialization (ED sample): Assessed works: 98,347 notes ≥ 5: 68.313 (69.46%)
  • Evaluated works: 98,347
  • Notes ≥ 5: 68.313 (69.46%)

These results indicate that, on average, more than one third of the students did not obtain the passing note to at least one of the samples.

Why does these statistics matter?

The publication of these statistics is an important step towards transparency in education. According to specialists, students will be able to compare their individual performances with those of their colleagues around the country, which can provide valuable feedback to adjust the training.

Teachers will have concrete data to identify which topics or themes have generated difficulties among students, and schools will be able to organize additional training sessions based on these statistics. In addition, parents will be able to better understand the level of preparation of their children and collaborate more efficiently with teachers.

What will every school in these statistics learn?

Schools will analyze the data to take measures to improve students’ performance. For example, where the students had great difficulties on a certain item, additional training sessions will be organized. In addition, teachers will have the opportunity to adapt the teaching method and pay more attention to more problematic topics.

Also, the statistics will contribute to increasing the degree of involvement of students and parents in the educational process, giving them a concrete tool for evaluating progress.

How can you access the data?

To access the detailed results, visit the official website of the Ministry of Education, the “Baccalaureate Simulation 2025” section. Here you will find the link “Item and evidence” statistics, which will be available from April 28, 2025. The data will be able to be downloaded in the form of PDF files or accessed through an interactive platform here.
