The project of the largest amusement park in Romania, in Stand-by. What is the reason

The Movileanu family, which controls several hotel complexes in the Venus resort, wants to build in Neptune the largest amusement park on the Romanian coast. For now, however, due to the economic volatility in Romania, the project has been stopped.

Businessman Nicolae Movileanu explained for “Adevărul” why the ambitious project is stopped. The investment in the future park in Neptune will amount to about 60 million euros.

“The project of the future amusement park from Neptune is currently stopped, because we are waiting to see how the bank interest will evolve”says businessman Nicolae Movileanu.

In total, 300 jobs will be created at the future amusement park. Most likely, a decision on the next steps of this ambitious project will be taken until the fall of this year.

The future amusement park in the Neptun resort will be one of the first five in Europe in size. The park will have a total area of ​​37 hectares and will include, among others, Aqua Park (12 hectares), commercial spaces, leisure areas and a 200 -room hotel.

The Movileanu family from Mioveni-Arges became known in the tourism industry in our country after developing in the Venus resort a four-star complex, after an investment estimated at almost 12 million euros.

The spouses Nicolae and Mariana Movileanu control several hotel complexes on the Black Sea coast, being a total of about 2,000 accommodation.

The biggest investment of the Movileanu family is the company Delta Invest in Mioveni, one of the most important suppliers of Dacia. Established in 1994, 31 years ago, Delta Invest is currently one of the most important companies in Romania in research- development of products injected from plastic masses, design and manufacture of molds, and manufacture of products and components injected from plastics.
