PSG is the queen of Europe! The French crushed Inter Milan by 5-0, in the Champions League final

PSG has gained an impressive way, for the first time in the history of the club, the Champions League. The French dominated from the 1st minute to the final whistle of the match, ridiculing often on Inter Milan.

It was only 5-0 for Parisians, who played on the occasions at the Italian gate. Hakimi opened the scoring in the 12th minute, from Douue’s pass, so that the 19-year-old kid to pick up the score to 2-0 from the 20th minute. The same two practically solved the game, 15 minutes after the resumption, pointing for 3-0, then PSG to have fun with the former Italian champion. Kvaratskhelia took the score to 4-0 in the 73rd minute, so that the last quarter of an hour means a sales of incredibly missed occasions. UPDATE 22.08: PSG has never won the Champions League. He played the final in 2020, when he lost in front of Bayern, 0-1. Inter has not been imposed on UCL since 2010, when Cristi Chivu lifted the trophy over his head. The Italians also played the final in 2023, when they gave in to Manchester City.

Interestingly, the final of the Champions League will be a match in which the team with the biggest age among the holders in the current edition (Inter – 30 years and 19 days) and the youngest qualified formation (PSG – 24 years and 262 days) will face the team. The two teams have not met before in an official match.

Istvan Kovacs becomes the first man in history to whistle at all three continental finals. He officiated at the last act of Conference League, in 2022, in Tirana (AS Roma-Feneoord 1-0), Europa League in the previous season (Atalanta-Bayer Leverkuse 3-0) and today, in the Champions League.
