Over two days the written tests of the 2025 baccalaureate begin, organized this year before the school year ends for the students of the primary, secondary and high school (except the high school year). Oral samples have been held since winter.

The high school graduates had time to enroll until June 6, 2025 to take the written tests of the 2025 Baccalaureate. The exam starts earlier than in the past years, even before the students from the preparatory class and until the 11th grade end the school year 2024-2025.
The calendar of the baccalaureate exam registered a premiere this year, the oral samples being taken by the candidates from the time of the school year. Sample A-evaluation of the linguistic competences of oral communication in Romanian was supported between January 27-29, 2025; sample B – evaluation of linguistic competences of oral communication in the mother tongue, on January 29-31, 2025; sample C-evaluation of linguistic skills in a language of international circulation-February 3-5, 2025; Sample D-Evaluation of digital skills, February 5-7, 2025.
In the school units in which the examination centers are organized for the students who have not completed the school year are carried out face to face only if there is the possibility of organizing them in building bodies other than the one in which the exam is carried out, otherwise they are held in the online system, the decision being of the School Board. The schools also have to solve the problem of supplementation of teachers who were selected to be part of the baccalaureate commissions, being hundreds of teachers involved in the exam, at each county.
Nine examination centers and an evaluation center are organized in Olt County. There are five examination centers in the municipality of Slatina, two in Caracal, one in Balș and two in the city of Corabia.
The candidates from the high schools with a small number of classes were shown to the closest centers, designated year by year, which have the necessary logistics so that the exam is carried out according to the methodology in force, said the chief inspector of the Olt County School Inspectorate and the chairman of the County Commission, Adrian Bărbulete. On Friday, June 6, at the headquarters of IȘJ Olt, the names of the presidents, vice -presidents and members of the examination committees in the county took place.
What written tests do the candidates have to support
The written samples of the 2025 Baccalaureate are supported on June 10-16, 2025. The first sample is held on Tuesday, June 10and is the one at Romanian language and literature – common evidence for students from all chains, profiles and specializations.
In June 11 the compulsory profile test takes place, which is Mathematics – for the real profile in the theoretical chain, for all the profiles in the technological chain and for the military profile and the pedagogical profile – specialization of teachers -educating, from the vocational chain, respectively History – for the humanistic profile in the theoretical chain and for all profiles and specializations in the vocational chain (except for the above).
In June 13 Students will support Sample of Profile Choosing/specialization. The students from the real profile in the theoretical chain, the technical profile and the natural resources profile and the environmental protection in the technological chain and the military profile in the vocational chain have a choice between physics, chemistry, biology or computer science. The graduates from the humanistic profile in the theoretical chain, the services profile in the technological chain and all the profiles and specializations in the vocational chain, except the above, have a choice between geography, philosophy, logic and argumentation, economy, psychology and, as the case may be, sociology.
The last sample, which only candidates belonging to national minorities, is the written test at Maternal language and literaturewhich supports in June 16.
According to the methodology after which this year the exam is organized, for the candidates from previous promotions, the specialization graduated with one of the professional specializations/qualifications in force for the current promotion is made.
Audio-Video Supervision and Survey Verification of Records
The candidates are already accustomed, from the simulations organized this year, provided they will take the exam. As in previous years, the halls are equipped with audio-video recording systems. The commissions in the examination center and the county commission can check by survey the audio-video recordings in the examination rooms, after the written test is completed. If the verification by the survey finds irregularities, frauds, fraud attempts or if there are notifications regarding irregularities, frauds, fraud attempts, the verification is done for the records in all the exam rooms in the respective center.
The teachers who are part of the commissions in the examination centers, including contact persons/computer scientists, are selected from other educational units than those from which the candidates arise. The students’ works will be scanned in their presence. It is worth mentioning that the students cannot leave the exam room with the sheet with the topics unless the time allocated to the topics has expired.

Candidates who violate the mentioned rules are eliminated from the exam, regardless of whether the prohibited materials/objects have been used or not, whether they were entered by them or by other candidates, by the teachers from the commission or by other persons and whether they received or transmitted the prohibited materials.
QThe collection of the mentioned rules will be considered an attempt by fraud, and the respective candidates can no longer participate in the following evidence and are declared “eliminated from the exam”, without the possibility of recognizing, in the following sessions, of the notes to the evidence prior to the elimination, including the evaluation of the linguistic and digital competences.
These candidates no longer have the right to participate in the next two sessions of the national baccalaureate exam. The calculation of the two sessions in which the candidates “eliminated from the exam” no longer have the right to participate is done without taking into account the special session of the national baccalaureate exam.
