Students who have not passed the baccalaureate exam will have a chance at the autumn session. So do the candidates who failed a single sample. The second BAC session takes place between July and August.

Students who have failed a single test at the baccalaureate exam can register only for that subject in the next session, without taking the other previously promoted evidence. That is called “Recognition of notes to the promoted evidence”.
Thus, between July 14-21, the candidates for the second examination session, including the candidates who passed the corrections take place. On August 4-5, the evaluation of the linguistic oral communication skills in the Romanian language -August A. also takes place on August 5, the evaluation of the linguistic competences of oral communication in the mother tongue takes place.
August 7-8 follows, the evaluation of the linguistic skills in an international circulation language Sample C. On August 11, the students will support the test in Romanian language and literature-EA)-the written test. On August 12, the compulsory profile test – EC sample) written test, and on August 13, the students will support the test of the profile and specialization – the ED test) – the written test
On August 18, the results will be displayed on the written tests (until 12.00), visualizing the written works and submitting the appeals (between 14.00-18.00)
On August 26, the final results will be displayed.
BAC 2025 results, first session
The Ministry of Education and Research published on Friday, June 20, 2025, the initial results of the 2025 baccalaureate exam. 24 candidates managed to finish the exam with average 10.
According to the data registered in the exam application, the cumulative promotion rate (all promotions) before appeals is 74.3% (76.4% – in the first session of last year). Thus, 77,805 candidates (73,859 candidates from the current promotion, respectively 3,946 of the previous promotions), in the number of 104,675 candidates present.
24 candidates ended the written samples with the average 10 (of them, a candidate took the samples in the special exam session). Most candidates (13,598 – all promotions) obtained environments located on segment 9 – 9.49.
The final results (after resolving the appeals) will be displayed on June 30.
In order to pass the exam, a high school graduate must meet the following conditions (cumulative):
- supporting all evaluation tests of linguistic and digital skills;
- supporting all written tests and obtaining note 5 (at least) for each of them;
- at least average 6 at written tests (average notes).
