The Ministry of Economy has launched a call for projects related to the de minimis aid scheme to support the tourism companies affected by floods in Praid (Harghita).

100 million lei will be allocated for entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry in Praid. The call is open between June 30, 2025, 10:00 – July 31, 2025, 5:00 pm.
“In the face of a difficult situation, our answer must be solidarity, quick and efficient. We have allocated 100 million lei for tourism entrepreneurs working in the area affected by floods, compensations that will be accessed starting this month, on June 30. We still have a professional team in the field, who works directly with the people in Praid – offers counseling, answers the questions and guides each requesting request by step, so that it can submit your documents. We do not leave anyone behind and we are determined to rebuild together!”, Said Minister Bogdan Ivan, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Economy.
The de minimis aid scheme is intended for tourism companies, including spa and public food tourism, affected by floods and declaring the major alert state created by flooding Praid saline and closing it, which strongly affects the local tourist sector and the local economy, in general.
“The objective of the de minimis aid scheme is to repair the damages caused by the floods registered in the Praid administrative-territorial unit, recognized by the Decision of the National Committee for Emergency Situations no. 7/2025 regarding the evaluation and establishment of specific measures for returning to the state of normality at the level of the Mina Salina Praid objective and supporting the activity of tourism companies, including spa and public food”, The quoted source also indicates.
The de minimis aid scheme was approved by the Order of the Minister of Economy, Digitization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism no. 1434/2025. It is applied on the territory of the administrative – territorial unit Praid, Harghita county.
The necessary documentation must be submitted in physical format at the registry of the territorial center for small and medium -sized enterprises and Târgu Mureș tourism, at the address Gheorghe Doja no. 25, Târgu Mureș, according to the following program: Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00, Friday: 08:30 – 14:30.
