The employees of the pension houses in the country protest on Tuesday, July 8, compared to the working conditions and the cutting of income and point out that their salaries are among the lowest in the budget system. And the MiPe trade unionists came out in front of the institutions.
The president of the National Federation The Social Solidarity of Labor, affiliated with the National Trade Union Bloc, Ionuţ Marinescu, said, for Agerpres, that the protests will continue all week, every morning, for about two hours.
“Among the dissatisfaction are the working conditions of the workers in the pension houses and the cutting of the income. We do not have computer applications, we have no offices, offices. In an office there are 10-12 people, compared to a maximum of 4-5 people. All this week we are in protests. We want to draw an alarm signal.“, said Ionuţ Marinescu
Ionuț Marinescu does not exclude the start of the general strike unless the claims are resolved.
We recall that the employees from the pension houses also protested on Monday, July 7, compared to the austerity measures announced by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, after the trade unionists went out on Friday.
Trade unionists from the Ministry of Investments and European Projects also protest
And the MiPe union “Normality”which represents the employees of the Ministry of Investments and European projects will organize a protest on Tuesday in front of the institution.
On Monday, the trade union organization, affiliated with the NBS, announced that it has sent an address to prominent members of the European Commission that draws attention to some “Risks regarding the administrative ability to manage European funds in the context of promoting legislative measures to reduce the remuneration of the personnel involved”.
The union requires the current level of remuneration for the personnel involved in the management and control of the European funds and implicitly the elimination of the draft law on some fiscal-budgetary measures of all the articles aimed at this category, as well as the creation of distinct occupational status and family within the future salary law, assumed by Romania as a milestone in the PNR, competences, its role and contribution to the economic and social development of Romania.
MIPE employees also protested last week in the ministry hall and, subsequently, in Victoriei Square, compared to the austerity measures announced by the Government, which halves the income of the specialists in the institution.
The draft law on fiscal-budgetary measures provides, assumed, on Monday, in the Parliament by the Bolojan Government, provides for the limitation, from up to 50%, to 35%, of the salary increase granted to the personnel from the institutions and/or the public authorities nominated in the projects of projects financed from European non-reimbursable and/or/or fundamental funds, as well as the mechanism of recovery and resilience.
