PNL MEP Rareș Bogdan is critical of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, for how he divided the European budget in the financial year 2028-2034. The Liberal admits that a censorship motion could vote against the head that if it does not correct how the funds for agriculture were especially allocated.
“I advise the lady Ursula von der Leyen Do not touch the rules of allocating funds for farmers! Last week’s motion was not successful thanks to EPP, S&D, Renew, Green and part of ESN (who did not vote in the block so as not to fall and Fito Raffaele, the right hand of Mrs. Meloni and vice -president of the Von Der Leyen Commission). But the future can be different! The European Parliament, the most legitimate institution of Eurosystem, directly chosen by citizens, cannot be ignored. The will of the European people, of the citizens, is expressed by the 720 deputies. The Commission is only a government and, like any government, it can fall anytime ”wrote Rareș Bogdan in a Facebook post.
The Romanian MEP claims that he would no longer want to see protests in Brussels of farmers, who are in his opinion again.
“Brussels has already seen the protests of the farmers, otherwise justified, and it is not necessary to put them back in front of the fact, affecting the food security of the European Union. Commeasing the funds for agriculture and cohesion, within the national plans, is unacceptable! are designed to reduce the gaps.
I welcome the proposal that Romania will have an allocation of 60 billion euros, compared to 46, when it is currently, I welcome the reaffirmation of priorities such as competitiveness (410 billion euros) and defense (5 times more money), welcome supporting electrical networks to reduce prices to the final consumer, but not to suffer! The PAC had 387 billion euros in the last long -term budget, and now an allocation of 300 billion is proposed. Great attention ”, draws the attention of Rareș Bogdan.
