After a series of weak results – 1-1 with Hermannstadt and 1-2 with the Andorrii from Inter Club – FCSB achieved the first success in Superliga, passing by Petrol, in Ploiești.

The champion defeated the limit, 1-0, in a match in the second stage of the football superligation. The first victory of the champion in this championship was brought by the goal scored by Florin Tanase (75), who resumed with the shoulder the center of Ionuţ Cercel.
The oil was presented well in the first half, but the red-blue ones were the ones who passed the opening of the score, the ball shot by David Miculescu hitting the Porti Ploieștenilor Bar (11). The biggest occasion of the hosts was recorded in the 33rd minute, after a mistake of defender Mihai Popescu, but goalkeeper Stefan Târnovanu defended Tommy Jyry.

In the second half, FCSB took over the reins of the match and Miculescu sent with his head (51), and Darius Olaru shot next to him, from angle (54). A minute later, the goalkeeper Raul Bălbărău was gifted, but Florin Tanase failed to mark, defender Paul Papp rejecting the gate line. After an hour of play, Adrian Şut sent the ball with his head, the goalkeeper Bălbărău rejected, and the ball fell on the cross.
The redeeming goal came with a quarter of an hour before the final whistle, Florin Tanase, introduced at the break, marking the three points to go to the champion’s account.
