Minimum historical flow on the Danube at the entrance to the country
At the entrance to the country, the Danube registers a minimum historical flow, at the entrance to the country (Baziaș section), the flow being 2500 m³/s, that is half from the multiannual average of July (5350 m³/s).
These, several sectors on the river and its arms-Măcin, Borcea, Chilia, Tulcea and Sulina-related to 29 localities, are in the warning-aging phase for the uses of population, industry, irrigation, fish farming, zootechnics and transport, with specific details on sectors and counties (Braila, Ialomița, Ialomița

In this context, the Romanian waters call on the population to avoid water waste and transmit the following recommendations:
* Prioritize water consumption for essential domestic needs;
* Avoid water waste and use it rationally;
* Respect the restrictions imposed for irrigation, industry and other activities, where they were imposed;
* Signal to local authorities any problems related to water supply;
* Make sure that the sanitary installations in housing do not have water losses;
* Signal to the nearest water management unit special situations in which you consider that the water reserve is affected (qualitatively) or quantitatively by improper installations/behavior that contravenes the environment/waters;
* Promote in the community to become aware of the need to save water.
