The Sanitas leader claimed on Wednesday that he did not notice systemic errors at Floreasca Hospital, following recent accusations, and announced urgent measures to improve communication between medical staff and patients.

He revealed that in the last days he received “Hundreds of gratitude messages from healed patients.”

“In a community of over 3000 colleagues (employees), the approach differences are natural. But we have not noticed systemic errors. Maybe a lack of communication, which we will analyze with sincerity and transparency-and we will repair it, regardless of the material or human costs.”he added.

Viorel Hușanu also stated that he proposed the organization of urgency of some employees communication courses with patients, a proposal that has already been approved by the union.

Serious charges at Floreasca Hospital

The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, sent the control body and the state sanitary inspection to the Floreasca Emergency Hospital in Bucharest on Monday.

The decision came from the emergence in the online environment of accusations regarding the lack of analgesics and the presence of cockroaches in the medical unit, accompanied by pictures.

The notification was made by a former patient who donated skin for her sister, seriously injured after a fire, with burns on 70% of the body surface.

The woman reported that in the salon in which she was admitted she noticed cockroaches and claimed the lack of essential soothing for critical patients.
