Romania will take place with Cyprus, on Tuesday, September 9, from 9.45 pm, in the preliminaries of the World Championship 2026. The match will take place on the GSP stadium, in Nicosia, where a new massive support from the fans are waiting.

According to the announcement made by the Romanian Football Federation, tickets will be available for sale starting today, August 1, in the online environment, starting with noon. These are 4,500 places exclusively for Romanian fans. The price of a ticket will be 10 euros (50.76 lei), and all the places reserved for Romanians will be distributed to the North Tribune, rings 1 and 2. The total capacity of the arena in Nicosia is almost 23,000 places.

In order to purchase the tickets, any buyer will be obliged to provide a series of information, namely, name – first name, sex, date of birth, series and CI/passport number, mobile phone number, regardless of the number of tickets purchased. Access to the arena will be made only on the basis of a valid ticket, regardless of age, according to FRF. At the same time, it is mandatory to obtain the digital fan card through the Application – Digital Citizen – Gov.cy portal, necessary for all the sports events in Cyprus.
In Group H, Romania is currently in the third place, with a total of six points obtained. On the first place are Bosnia (9 points) and Austria in second place, on equal points with tricolors. Cyprus has obtained a total of three points, while San Marino is occupying the last position in the standings, without any victory.
