The state, in many fields, can no longer continue the approaches it had, was the message of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan for the education employees, in the context of the protests announced against the fiscal-budgetary measures.

“I did not see, unfortunately, a global improvement of the education system.”

“My message for teachers is as follows: the Romanian state, as I told you, in many fields, can no longer continue the approaches it had. And, for example, in education, in these years, through a package of measures, we have decreased the teachers’ teaching norms, through different derogations, by lowering the norms, I had to increase the number, I had to increase the number, I have not seen, unfortunately, a global improvement of the education system and we see, apart from the mistakes of political decision-makers, that in many places, for example, between the class note, which a student receives and is very good, otherwise, the note for the exams that are given, baccalaureate or capacity, is a very big difference.said Ilie Bolojan, Wednesday night, at Digi 24, according to Agerpres.

He explained the measures taken in this sector. “In fact, the approximately 30,000 hours that were additional to the hour’s payment distributed some of them, increasing the didactic norm by two hours, so no salaries were cut, but it is true, very correct and honest, that you work more in the class with the same money. At the same time, for example, I have proposed some formulas to make some schools that have to be in the same way that there is some formulas that the realities that are in the rural area ”, Bolojan showed.

The prime minister also referred to the measures regarding the scholarship system.

“We were forced, with all the unpopularity, to interrupt the package of scholarships that were granted to the students. In 2021 we had 188 million lei all year – scholarships, and in 3 years after that, we reached 4.7 billion lei. Affects, let’s say, by direct salaries, as the employees of the local or central public administration were affected, through the bonuses that were affected, by reduction of personnel, did not happen in education “said Bolojan.
