BAC 2025 results. Notes at autumn baccalaureate were displayed – no average 10. When challenges can be made

The results of the autumn 2025 baccalaureate were displayed on the official website baccalaureat.edu.ro. They are available at the noticeors of the high schools in which the samples were held.

Over 7,000 students promoted the baccalaureate. No average of 10

According to the results displayed on the site, a total of 7,306 students managed to pass the baccalaureate exam, in the autumn session, obtaining averages at least equal to 6.

The highest average obtained is 9.81, followed by 9.55 and 9.40.

In total, there are 24 students who have managed to obtain the average over 9, but there is no average of 10, before appeals.

In this session, in total, over 30,200 high school graduates registered, of which over 18,200 come from the current promotion and about 12,000 from previous promotions. According to the Ministry of Education, it is the smallest number of candidates in the last two decades.

How many students did not show up or have been removed from the exam

For the autumn session of the 2025 baccalaureate, the official data on the presence and elimination of the students in the written tests are the following:

Romanian language and literature (August 11, 2025)

Presence: 13,992 (87.1%)

Signed candidates: 18,745

Presence: 15,780 (84.2%)

In total, about 3,000 candidates were absent from written tests, and 69 were eliminated for fraud attempt.

How students find their notes

The results are anonymous, to comply with the legislation regarding the protection of personal data. Each student must enter the unique code received at the first written test, of the JJ0000 form, where the letters represent the county.

FINAL APPLICATIONS AND RESULTS

Those dissatisfied with notes can file appeals today, August 18, completing the standard statement by which they assume that the final note can be higher or lower than the initial one.

For the first time, the candidates can request the viewing of their own work immediately after displaying the initial results, before deciding whether or not an appeal.

The candidate may request the view of his own work/works after displaying the initial results, in accordance with the provisions of the procedure established by the National Baccalaureate Commission ”states the Ministry of Education.

The final results will be published on August 26, 2025.

Conditions for passing the exam

In order to be declared promoted, a graduate must cumulatively meet the following conditions:

  • to have supported all the evidence of linguistic and digital skills;

  • to have obtained minimum grade 5 at each written test;

  • to have obtained at least average 6 at all written tests.

Promotability rate

In the summer session 2025, the promotion rate was 74.3% before appeals and increased to 76.5% after appeals, the second best result in the last 16 years.

For the autumn session, the promotion rate is, traditionally, much lower (usually between 25-30%), following that the official data for this year will be announced by the Ministry of Education after displaying the results.

The promotion rate at the autumn 2025 baccalaureate, before the appeals, is about 24%.
