Marina Voica surprised everyone through a spectacular appearance at the Mamaia Festival. At almost 89 years old, the artist brought extra elegance and emotion, and the fans were able to admire it in a remarkable form.

The rehearsals for the second evening of the Mamaia festival are in full swing, and the fans of Romanian light music have had a special surprise.
“The public will enjoy recitals supported by beloved artists, each bringing emotion and soul music. The day started in a special way, with the unmistakable presence of Mrs. Voica-a legend of Romanian music.”wrote Andrei Tudor, conductor of the festival orchestra, in the description of the video published on Facebook.
The artist had a youthful outfit, wearing a white long sleeve shirt, over which he added a long jeans vest. He completed the look with a pair of sports pants, white sneakers and a black lace purse.
This year’s edition continues to highlight the Romanian light music, being broadcast on both TVR 2 and online through TVR+. Romanians from the diaspora can watch the festival through TVR Moldova and TVRI, in special broadcasts dedicated to them. The event is presented by Anca Ţurcașiu and Aurelian Temișan, and the orchestra of the festival, led by Andrei Tudor, adds extra elegance and refinement to each evening, reports Click! .Ro.
The program continues on Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24, 2025, with recitals of consecrated artists such as Marina Voica, Marcel Pavel, Monica Anghel, Dida Drăgan and Adrian Daminescu, but also with representatives of the younger generation. Between August 27-29, the public will be able to follow the National Festival of Mamaia Romanian folk song and dance.
The Mamaia festival remains in 2025 a landmark of Romanian music, a place where the past and present meet harmoniously, offering the spectators full of emotion, music and quality show.
