Oncological patients will continue to benefit from treatment, gave CNAS insurance on Friday, stating that they continually monitor how to use the budget approved on all fields of medical assistance, and at present there are no discontinuities.

“The CNAS team appreciates the efforts made by the Ministry of Finance to identify the necessary solutions for to pay all the due obligations in Augustworth 2.8 billion lei ”informed CNAS on Friday, stating that it uses all legal levers to avoid discontinuities in providing medical treatments, until a positive budgetary rectification is approved.

Given that starting with September, commitment loans for oncological drugs in cost-volume contracts are not sufficient to cover the necessary, CNAS has performed a redistribution of these credits worth 405 million lei, in accordance with hospital requests, so that the sanitary units can grant the patients with the appropriate treatment without discontinuities.

For the same purpose, the president of CNAS, conf. Univ. Dr. Horațiu-Remus Moldovan, requested the detailed situation of the development of the national oncology program throughout the country, and the data analysis showed adequate management at the level of the national health system, registering punctual problems in some health units and from Bucharest. The situation has been monitored and managed operatively, and at this moment the treatments are granted according to all oncological patients.

The CNAS team pays attention to the signaling of any problem arising in granting the settlements settled in FNUASS, for the purpose of prompt intervention to solve them, to ensure uninterrupted access to the necessary treatments and continue to act with the institutional partners to provide medical assistance under optimal conditions for all patients in Romania.
