The University of Cluj and Rapid București opened the 9th stage in Superliga, the match ending in a draw, 0-0.

Rapid missed the opportunity to climb, at least temporarily, to the first place of the standings. Costel Gâlcă’s team ticked the fourth equal this season (5 victories and no defeat), while Ioan Ovidiu Sabău’s team remains without victory at home. Of four matches, it has three draws and a failure.
The Bucharest people created their biggest opportunities. In the first half, Christensen defeated the goalkeeper Gertmonas, but Cristea rejected the ball from the Port’s line. In the second part, Petrila passed ideal to Kader Keita, but the ivorian shot was spectacular under the bar by the same Gertmonas.
The Clujians were close to the emptiness in the 86th minute, when the ball hit the transverse, but Kramer managed to reject in front of the gate.
After this equal, Rapid retains its invincibility and will finish the stage in the second place in Superliga, with 19 points. The University of Cluj temporarily climbed to the 6th position, but could lose a few places until the end of the round.
The next stage, Rapid plays at home with Hermannstadt, and the University of Cluj meets the newly promoted FC Argeș.
