On September 29, Oana Țoiu will support the national intervention in the Unga plenary, on which occasion she will present the objectives and priorities of Romania throughout the entire session. Support for effective multilateralism, UN Charter and international law, promotion and respect for human rights and ensuring sustainable development premises are among the major priorities of Romania at this session of the General Assembly.
In both national intervention and various discussions, topics such as European and Romania security will be addressed under the premeditated and provocative rape conditions and flagrant violations by the Russian Federation of International Law. The Romanian official will evoke the importance of conjugated efforts for peace and stop the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which has global and regional implications. It will also approach the situation in the Middle East and the importance of efforts to release the hostages and large -scale humanitarian assistance in the Gaza Strip, as well as for a sustainable peace solution, based on the principle of the two states, which will ensure regional security and exclude Hamas and terrorist organizations.

The transatlantic dinner organized by the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio (September 24);
The informal meeting of the ministers that support the activity of the CPI International Criminal Court (September 25).

On September 25, the high level meeting will be held on the prevention and control of non -transmissible diseases and promoting mental health and well -being. The heads of state and government will thus establish a new vision regarding the prevention and control of non -transferable diseases (NCD) – including cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes and chronic respiratory diseases – and promoting mental health and well -being by 2030 and subsequently, through a new political statement.

UN’s institutional scaffolding
