The PSD candidate for the General City Hall of the Capital, Daniel Băluță, the current mayor of Sector 4, officially submitted his candidacy for the position of mayor of Bucharest on Saturday, November 15.

“This is an important moment. I want to thank the citizens who signed for my candidacy, but also those who did not. I also thank all my colleagues and volunteers who supported me. I am confident that in this election people will vote for results. People will appreciate what has been the impact of politics in the last 35 years in this city and what the results mean. (…)The investments we have made in infrastructure, in hospitals, schools, high schools, Kindergartens…these are not just words. (…)I am running for people, I am running for two major objectives: lowering the cost of daily life and increasing the quality of life of the citizens of Bucharest.said Daniel Băluță.
So far, six candidates have submitted their candidacy files for the Capital City Hall. Daniel Băluță, PSD candidate; Anca Alexandrescu is running on behalf of AUR; George Burcea, actor, is running for the Young People’s Party (POT); Ciprian Ciucu, current mayor of Sector 6, represents PNL, and Cătălin Drula, the leader of USR, is also submitting his candidacy. Vlad Alexandru Zidaru, known as an influencer under the pseudonym Makaveli, is running independently.
The deadline for submitting applications is November 17.
