USR Minister of Defense, Radu Miruţă, is in the resort of Rânca, Gorj county, for which he says he tried to be declared a resort of national interest.
Minister Radu Miruță says that it has been snowing continuously for two days in Rânca, and those who do not ski could end up in the neighbors’ mouths.
“Rânca is wonderful both in summer and winter, but when it is covered with snow, it is the absolute beauty. For this beauty, I tried to be declared a resort of national interest. For 2 days it has been snowing here almost continuously, and whoever does not ski is the subject of gossip among the neighbors in the morning while drinking coffee in the street. So more with the shovel, more with the cutter, I earn the right to be in the camp of those with the part made”Miruta wrote on the Facebook page.
Radu Miruță is originally from Novaci (Rânca area) and at the end of October the Government adopted a decision approving the certification as a tourist resort of national interest of the city of Novaci.
“Rânca is, for me, one of those places that every Romanian should fall in love with. It has a beauty that takes your breath away, huge potential, but also needs real development, attention and investments”, said Miruță then, who put his signature on the document.
In the last few days, due to the weather conditions in the area, the authorities have periodically restricted access to Rânca, being allowed only to those who live in the area, have secured accommodation there or have four-wheel drive cars
