On Tuesday, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan had consultations with the mayors of the municipalities that manage emergency hospitals, discussing their financing, administrative reform and the development of local investments through PNRR, as well as government programs.
The meeting was organized at the request of the mayors of the municipalities of Roman- Laurentiu Dan Leoreanu, Moinești- Valentin Vieru, Bârlad- Dumitru Boros, Pașcani- Marius Pintilie, Petroșani- Tiberiu Iacob Ridzi, Caransebeș- Felix Cosmin Borcean.
The main topic of discussion referred to the health component, with emphasis on the situation of municipal emergency hospitals, respectively their classification based on objective criteria, according to which public funding will be provided.
“The discussions took place in the context in which the Ministry of Health published, in public consultation, the draft Government Decision on the criteria for inclusion in the category of hospitals of strategic importance. The mayors of the six municipalities presented a series of arguments to be analyzed by the Ministry of Health”, sent the Government.
Another important topic discussed during the meeting at the Victoria Palace was the administrative reform, a project in an advanced stage of promotion at the government level.
Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that this legislative package involves a deep administrative reform, which will provide tools for increasing the efficiency of local authorities.
“The mayors of the six municipalities mentioned that the approval of the administrative reform as soon as possible will be able to support local projects and the proper functioning of the local public administration. In this context, it was also discussed about the progress of the investments financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, as well as by government programs. The Head of the Executive asked the mayors to signal to him any delays regarding the payment of the executed works, in order to streamline this process at the level of the ministries”. the Government also specified.
