Influencer Dorian Popa was sentenced to 8 months of suspended prison on Thursday, February 26, for driving under the influence of psychoactive substances. The judges’ decision is final.
According to the website of the Ministry of Justice, during a 2-year supervision period, he is obliged to report to the Ilfov Probation Service, announce any change of residence or job and attend a social reintegration program.
He will also perform 60 days of unpaid work for the benefit of the community at the Domnești City Hall or at the “Gheorghe Corneliu” Secondary School.
The judges drew his attention to the fact that any new offense or non-compliance with these measures will result in the suspension being revoked and the sentence being served in detention. The decision rendered today, February 26, 2026, is final.
Dorian Popa received, at the end of 2024, an 8-month suspended prison sentence in the open case after, in 2023, he was found driving under the influence of drugs.
The prosecutor’s office attached to the Cornetu Court, however, appealed the decision in court. His appeal is heard at the Bucharest Court of Appeal. After the Monday, January 19 deadline, the court set a new appearance for February 18.
Dorian Popa is a Romanian vlogger and artist who became famous in 2011, with the role of Andrei Anghel in the series “Pariu cu vienta” and the activity in the band Lala Band.
Since 2017, he has been dedicated to vlogging, his community currently has 2.41 million subscribers, mostly children and teenagers. The artist also launched into real estate business with the “Hâtz Residence” project in Domnești, revealing that he invested 500,000 euros just for the purchase of the land in Ilfov county.
