Casting for NIBIRU: Looking for dancers for the newest seaside resort

NIBIRU, the new resort that will be launched in the summer of 2026 between Tuzla and Costinești, has started registrations for the international casting of dancers. For 46 days, in full season, the selected artists will support an intense artistic program in a unique format on the Romanian stage.

Conceived as an integrated entertainment project, NIBIRU is not thought of as a punctual festival, but as a summer destination built on a unitary concept, with shows developed especially for this space.

The organizers are looking for professional dancers from Romania and abroad, with experience in various styles such as contemporary, urban, commercial, Latin, fusion or experimental.

The selection process begins with an online pre-selection stage open until March 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM at nibiru.net/casting. The application file must include:

• Artistic resume

• recent photos (portrait and full body)

• a solo video of maximum 90 seconds

• a link to a demo reel of maximum 2 minutes, published on YouTube or Vimeo

Selected candidates will be invited to the live casting in Bucharest, scheduled for March 16-18, 2026.

The final selection will include an individual rehearsal, consisting of a solo moment of up to 90 seconds, to assess technique, style and expressiveness, followed by a choreography rehearsal learned on the spot, designed to test adaptability, speed of assimilation and teamwork ability.

The period of creation and rehearsals is scheduled for May and June 2026, in Bucharest, followed by technical rehearsals on stage before the official opening. For the months of July and August 2026, full availability is required for the entire duration of the artistic program.

The artistic direction and the development of the stage concept are carried out by Răzvan Ioan Dincă together with his creative team, with experience accumulated in relevant projects such as Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia!, Shrek, My Fair Lady and other large-scale productions. NIBIRU productions will integrate music, dance and scenography in a format adapted to an intensive schedule of rehearsals and performances, with an emphasis on artistic coherence, visual impact and execution to high standards.
