According to American media, Slovenian basketball player Luka Doncic is in a legal dispute with Anamaria Goltes regarding the custody of his daughters, Gabriela and Olivia.
Luka Doncic broke up with his fiancee, Anamaria Goltes, and according to the American media, he is now trying to bring their two daughters to Los Angeles. “I love my daughters more than anything and I did everything I could to have them with me in the States during the season, but it just wasn’t possible, so I recently made the difficult decision to end my engagement. Everything I do is for the happiness of my daughters and I will always fight to be with them and give them the best life possible“, the Slovenian said in a statement to ESPN and The Athletic.
Their relationship began in 2016, followed by a marriage proposal in July 2023. In November of the same year, their first daughter, Gabriela, was born in Los Angeles. Olivia, their second, was born in Slovenia last December.
ESPN reports that a fight broke out between Doncic and Goltes when the player expressed his desire to bring Gabriela to the United States. The woman would have called the police, but according to the report consulted by ESPN, nothing was found wrong. On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Goltes filed for child support, which the Slovenian allegedly never paid. Now, Doncic will fight for custody of the girls.
