The coffin with the lifeless body of Mugurel Vrabete, known as the bassist of the band Holograf, will be deposited on Friday, March 13, at the Palatului Hall, so that all those who knew him can pay him their last respect. The musician died on Thursday at the age of 70.
Those who wish to say goodbye can do so on Friday between 14:00 and 20:00 at the Palatului Hall or on Saturday morning between 09:00 and 11:00 at the Vitan Bârzești Crematorium.
“At Sala Palatului, access will be through the artists’ entrance, located on the right side of the hall (Str. Valter Mărăcineanu). It helps us a lot to feel how many people loved and respected Mugurel”broadcast the band Holograf.
On the band’s official Facebook page, his colleagues shared an emotional message.
“One day comes… and today a painful day has come. Iulian Vrabete left us, after a battle with an incurable disease. He was part of the Holograf family for over 40 years. We wrote together a large part of the band’s story and we lived together both joys and sorrows. We miss him enormously. Mugurel was not only our friend, the older brother, the band’s bassist or a passionate and talented musician. For us he was a point of balance, the man who brought us together and settled us down when things got complicated. Our thoughts are now with his family.”sent Holograf, on FB.
The band’s shows scheduled during this period will take place according to the established calendar, in Arad, Reșita, Timișoara and Sala Palatului.
“The shows scheduled during this period – Arad (March 13), Reșița (March 14), Timișoara (March 15) and Sala Palatului (March 17) – will take place as announced. It will not be easy, but we feel that we have a moral duty to respect Mugurel’s wish and belief that «The show must go on»”, Holograf announced on Facebook.
