Mihai Gâdea announced, Monday morning, that his mother, Rodica Gâdea, died. The sad news was made public through an emotional message posted on social media, where the TV presenter talks about the loss suffered by the whole family.
“It is very difficult for me to inform you that, a few hours ago, my mother left us. For me and my sisters, Alina, Dana and Emi, mother was our rock, our warmth and the endless source of love and understanding for everything that is really important in life.
She was a perfect mother, full of love, patience and faith. That’s why it was so hard for us to understand the suffering he went through.” the TV presenter said.
Mihai Gâdea emphasized that, in these painful moments, faith remains the main support for the family.
“Our faith remains steadfast in the Savior Jesus Christ. In these difficult times, we are comforted by the conviction that she now rests in His arms. And we live in the living hope that we will soon meet again, for His promise is sure: He will come and gather us all together.”
The funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m., at the Labyrinth Adventist Church.
“All those who wish to be with us are welcome, we await them with the love that mother taught us to keep even in the most difficult moments. And for those who cannot come, we ask them to keep us in their thoughts and prayers.”
