Several politicians sent Easter messages on Facebook in which they wish the Romanians that this holiday brings them health, happiness, trust and peace and urge them to be in solidarity.
On Easter, Romanian politicians let go of the reins and focused on sending messages appropriate to the holy holidays of these days.
Among the first to address the Romanians was President Nicușor Dan, who on Sunday morning sent a message of solidarity.
“Christ is Risen!
It is the certainty that reminds us every year of the triumph of hope and the power of rebirth, the moment when we return to the values that define us – the confidence that we can do more, love and kindness towards our fellow men.
The Easter holidays find us this year in times of severe uncertainty and crisis, where many of us are naturally preoccupied with worrying about tomorrow.
I urge you to be united not only in the spirit of traditions, but also in deeds, based on the conviction that good has the power to change communities and heal a society.
May the Light of Resurrection bring us the peace of mind we need to move forward, no matter how difficult the road may seem at times.
I wish you happy holidays, with health and dear people by your side!”, the president wrote on Facebook.
And Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan was among those who wanted to convey a message to Romanians.
“Dear Romanians,
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
I wish you to enjoy the holidays in peace and quiet, with your loved ones.
CHRIST IS RISEN!”, says Ilie Bolojan’s message.
Sorin Grindeanu, the PSD president and George Simion, the AUR leader, summed up to convey the simple message, “Christ is Risen!”, while the USR president, Dominic Fritz, had a special wish for the Romanians.
“From the triumph of life over death that we celebrate these days, let us find again the courage to hope and the strength to overcome what divides us. Thank you for your work and for the passion with which you fight for our city and our country. Please never tire. We need each other and Romania needs everyone.
Christ is risen. happy holidays Happy Easter”is Dominic Fritz’s message.
