The Ministry of Education announces that, on Thursday, April 30, a set of 320 school programs for high school education, developed as part of the curriculum reform, was approved. The new set complements the 90 programs already approved.
Thus, 10 school programs were approved for: Mathematics (CS) for the technological stream, all profiles and qualifications, Mathematics applied in social sciences (humanistic profile), in architecture (artistic profile), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), common core, grades X – XII, for all streams, the ministry reports, according to Agerpres.
Also, three school programs were approved for the study of modern L1 and L2 languages, in an intensive regime, as follows: Chinese, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Turkish.
According to the cited source, 170 school programs were approved for mandatory subjects from the specialized curriculum for the theological profile, for all recognized religions: Orthodox, Roman Catholic (Romanian and Hungarian), Greek Catholic, Reformed, Baptist, Pentecostal, Seventh Day Adventist, Muslim, Unitarian.
The programs cover theological, historical, artistic, musical disciplines, as well as application and specialized practical disciplines.
The Ministry of Education and Research adds that 32 school programs have been approved for the mother tongue and literature, as well as for applied grammar-type subjects, intended for high school education, for the common core (TC) and/or the specialized curriculum (CS), as the case may be, in the following languages: Hungarian, German, Ukrainian, Slovak, Serbian, Croatian, Czech, Polish, Russian, Italian, Turkish, Romanian, Bulgarian, neo-greek.

Another 105 programs for the vocational sector (artistic profile) were approved, and the Ministry of Education and Research announces new consultation stages for the completion of high school programs.
